                            • If you are sure that a cell is empty, select the X button to activate it & color in the X the same way you would color in a pencil. When you are done using the X don’t forget to switch back to pencil!
                            • When you correctly fill out the orange pencil squares in an entire row or column, the game automatically marks the blank squares in the other rows and columns.
                            • Lives
                              • Throughout the game, you have 3 lives. These are represented by hearts on the top center of the screen.
                              • Each time you make a mistake, you lose a life.
                              • Lose all 3 lives and you lose the level.
                              • This game offers unlimited continues, though the level you lost starts off blank when you continue.
                              • Scoring
                                • Your game score is cumulative across levels within each puzzle size.
                                • If you make mistakes while solving the puzzle your score is lowered.
                                • It is easier to earn a higher level & total game score on larger puzzles than on smaller puzzles since there are more pieces to earn placement scores on.
                                • Strategy
                                  • It is often best to start out with the rows which have the most colored in cells.
                                    • For example, if you were playing a 16 wide puzzle and you saw 16 you would know all 16 cells were colored in.
                                    • Similarly, if you saw a 14 1, or 13, 2 you would know what cell was blank (the fifteenth cell in the first example and the fourteenth cell in the second example) and be able to fill the rest in.
                                    • Switch directions
                                      • After making your initial fills you are certain of either horizontally or vertically, play the puzzle in the orthogonal direction to see if lays in one direction help you solve the other direction.
                                      • By repeatedly solving puzzles using deductive reasoning while switching directions you can often solve most puzzles without requiring any guesses, however in some cases you have to guess.
                                      • Partial filling
                                        • If you are playing a 16 wide puzzle and see 12 2 on a row you are certain cells 2 through 12 are filled in and cell 15 is filled in.
                                        • While you can not be certain about cells 1, 13, 14, & 16 you can leave the row partially colored so that the filled squares can help you solve columns.
                                        • In some rare cases some puzzles may require guessing, though on most puzzles you can beat them without requiring any guessing.
                                        • Target Audience
                                          • The game is suited for players who like spatial logic puzzle games.
                                          • The game has no adult themed content.
